Nice Vintage Birdseye Grain Wood Music Box with Swiss Reuge Romance Movement - Blue Danube

This is a really nice looking wooden music box with inlaid instrument design on the lid and a nice birdseye grain as pictured. The music box has a Swiss made Romance wind-up movement by Reuge - the movement currently is non-functional for some reason. The tune that it is supposed to play is Blue Danube. The knob is corroded as pictured and when wound, the movement just slips. The box measures just over 8 inches long and has no damage and no significant wear to the wood and finish. Good for parts or repair or just to add to your collection. |
