Vintage Walnut Dresser Chest Shaped Jewelry Box with Built in Music Box

This is a vintage wooden jewelry box with a built in wind up music box movement that looks like a dresser with mirror. Marked made in Japan, maker unknown. The movement was made is marked Melody and Japan and plays when you pull out the bottom right drawer. Very good condition with no breaks or damage. The music box movement plays fine. There is some spotty minor wear to the wood and the finish as pictured, which would likely be remedied with some furniture polish. The mirror is intact and has no damage, but shows a few tiny spots of silvering loss. For size reference, the box measures 12 inches tall. |
